The ONLY ending I don’t want for Good Omens is Aziraphale and Crowley becoming human. I’ve seen the whole “Immortals become human” thing done before, and it always feels unsatisfying to me. After everything they’ve been through, they deserve more than a small handful of years of peace and happiness. Crowley deserves to be able to see his nebula grow to full maturity.

Why do they need to closely track some nobody in a small American town who likes to upload videos with their face and name? You should be more worried that your own government might use that information to track you, and they definitely are.
The American government has much more motive to spy on its citizens than China has to spy on random Americans. If China is spying on Americans, they’re focusing on politicians and people who work in major infrastructure not some loser with a nothing job who has no state secrets to share, sorry!

They have already begun making it worse/less usable and they have a chokepoint monopoly on the delivery method of ebooks borrowed from public libraries in the US.
A fun thing about capitalism is that rich people can buy something a lot of people love and depend on, and then destroy it for fun and profit, and there’s not really anything we can do about it.
And now they’re in closing negotiations to buy Simon and Schuster. I’m sure this will have no negative consequences for books at all.
The powerful probably would enjoy that. Not only will they go the route of Fahrenheit 451, they’ve got several nations of constituents that would be okay with it so long as it’s books they hate.
